Optimal temperature management is critical for maintaining quality and safeguarding these life-saving products. Blood bank refrigerators that use conventional cooling technology have been used by hospitals and blood centers for many years. These systems provide an appropriate temperature-controlled environment for blood products, but they tend to consume more energy than newer approaches.
