Helmer Scientific has supported Mission to Ukraine and the Romanov Orphanage for Disabled Children in Zhitomar, Ukraine, since 2008. Through feet-on-the-ground volunteer projects such as day camps at the orphanage and donations, Helmer team members have nurtured close ties with the orphans and their caregivers.
Since the invasion last week, Mission to Ukraine has been providing humanitarian support by way of medicine, food, electrical generators, and evacuation assistance to the people of Ukraine. They remain open in Zhitomar and will continue to support anyone in need.
Helmer has made an initial donation of $10,000 to Mission to Ukraine to directly help in this humanitarian effort. We will continue to monitor the situation and will stay ready to help further as needed.
