Helmer Scientific is committed to providing world-class service along with the highest quality products, ensuring that your equipment will operate at its ultimate performance capacity. As part of this commitment, we took a special care in the development of our Ultra-Low freezers to focus on both reliability and serviceability.

We included field service engineers as members of our Ultra-Low product development team, serving as consultants to help design and organize the systems inside the freezer. Their expertise in servicing Ultra-Low freezers resulted in a design that is easily serviceable as well as extremely reliable, reducing both downtime and repair costs.

This input meant that special attention was paid to the accessibility of critical components, both in terms of line-of-sight and tool access. In addition, faster troubleshooting and rapid diagnosis of an issue can save time and money. For this reason, we developed the Device Status Console within the i.C3® Information Center, which provides information to help service engineers quickly diagnose issues. It also allows observation of trends so that potential problems can be identified before they occur.

Based on their advice, service thermocouples were also incorporated into the design of the freezer. These provide additional information to help pinpoint the location of an issue, enabling faster troubleshooting.
