Helmer Scientific recently announced that the i.C3® Information Center, the integrated control and monitoring system for the i.Series® line of refrigerators and freezers, has been updated with an expanded feature set. These updates help with the management of temperature data associated with the storage of blood therapies, medications and vaccines, patient samples, and other sensitive and expensive products. The i.C3® Information Center provides continuous temperature monitoring, multiple information logs, as well as security features to help promote safety and efficiency.
In order to illustrate the new features of the enhanced i.C3®, a video was created. It demonstrates the newly added Min-Max feature, which enables users to view the minimum and maximum recorded temperatures on the home screen. This makes it easier to document the minimum and maximum temperatures (especially important for vaccine storage applications and meeting CDC recommendations). In addition, there is a Min-Max reset function, which allows users to start a new recording period after fulfilling documentation requirements.
The video also demonstrates the new enhancements to the interactive temperature graph, localization features, and download process, as well as optional Ethernet capability that enables data to be obtained remotely via customer-developed software.
