As part of Helmer Scientific's voluntary partnership with the EPA we are pleased to help bring attention to ENERGY STAR® through celebrating ENERGY STAR® Day. ENERGY STAR® Day is an annual event that promotes awareness of the program and encourages individuals and businesses to continue to protect the environment through energy efficiency.
Earlier in 2017, Helmer Scientific was proud to be recognized by the U.S. Environmental Agency (EPA) as meeting new ENERGY STAR® standards for High Performance laboratory refrigerators used across healthcare applications. This equipment category is critical to hospitals, clinics, and research facilities to ensure products such as blood therapies, medications and vaccines, and patient samples are appropriately safeguarded. Currently 24 models of Helmer Scientific products have passed rigorous testing and carry the ENERGY STAR® label. Additional certifications are planned to expand the program to other products.
