Helmer Scientific and Terso Solutions, Inc. have partnered to develop a new -30 degree freezer with integrated RFID technology to improve inventory management in healthcare and life sciences facilities. The new RFID freezer provides fully automated tracking of high value refrigerated inventories, including reagents, tissue samples, and pharmaceuticals.
RFID integrated with cold storage allows for greater accountability and visibility throughout the chain of custody, and automates secure access and tracking of these expensive and sensitive products. The result is reduced waste and better management of the quality and quantity of inventories, helping facilities better control both security and costs.
