The eighth annual Neighborhood Clean-Up Blitz took place on Saturday, July 11th in downtown Noblesville to help families and households that cannot maintain landscaping and house repairs on their own. This service project, hosted by SERVE Noblesville and Keep Noblesville Beautiful, brings the community together to support families in need while also beautifying Noblesville.
37 Helmer Scientific employees volunteered over 160 total hours of service as part of this community service event. Volunteers participated in gardening and planting, tree and shrub trimming, installing mulch, power washing, painting small exterior projects, hauling heavy equipment, recycling metals, and removing unwanted large and small items. The mayor of Noblesville, John Ditslear, was at the event and thanked Helmer Scientific for their continuous generosity to the community. Owner David Helmer, who cleaned up a weeded flowerbed with his two twins for an elderly woman on Community Day, stated, "The people of Helmer Scientific do days like this and so much more because that is just who we are!"
