Helmer Scientific, a leading supplier of cold storage and processing equipment, has announced that their -30ºC Laboratory and Plasma Freezer line is now available in a 115 volt electrical configuration. The new configuration is in addition to the existing 208/230 volt configuration. Auto-defrost freezers from Helmer Scientific offer exceptional uniformity during defrost cycles as well as normal operation. Now this type of freezer performance is available in both upright and undercounter models for facilities that prefer using 115 volt power outlets.

The freezers are available in both the i.Series® and Horizon Series™ lines. Sizes include undercounter models (4- and 5- cubic feet) and upright models (20- and 25- cubic feet).
i.Series® models provide software features designed to improve staff efficiency and patient safety. The i.C3® Information Center is a door-mounted user interface with a full-color touchscreen. It provides precise temperature control, constant temperature monitoring, and multiple information logs that can be downloaded. Horizon Series™ models offer a temperature controller with built-in alarm. Both lines feature Min/Max temperature tracking, programmable automatic defrost, and custom storage options.
